Spring Classic Quota

Join us for our Spring Classic Quota Tournament, a two-person team event inspired by the excitement of golf’s first major of the season. This fun and competitive format rewards both steady play and big moments.

When: Saturday, April 18
Time 8:00 AM Shotgun Start
Entry Fee: $50.00 per player
Format Overview
  1. Players compete as two person teams
  2. Each golfer plays their own ball
  3. Points are awarded based on score per hole
  • Bogey = 1 point
  • Par = 2 points
  • Birdie = 4 points
  • Eagle = 8 points
Each player receives an individual quota based on their course handicap. The team’s total points are compared to their combined quota, and the team that exceeds their quota by the largest margin wins.
Standard Quota Formula
Quota = 36 minus Course Handicap
Examples:
6 handicap → 30 point quota
12 handicap → 24 point quota
18 handicap → 18 point quota
24 handicap → 12 point quota
Lower handicaps carry higher quotas while higher handicaps have lower quotas, creating a balanced competition where every player has a chance to win. This format makes every hole matter. Big birdies help, but steady pars win tournaments.
The winning team will earn the honorary Spring Classic Champion title.

  • Building reliable carry distances from 40–80 yards
  • Controlling trajectory including low, stock, and high shots
  • Choosing the correct wedge for each situation
  • Distance control under pressure
  • Random yardage challenges

 

Whether we are working on-course at the 17th hole or using TrackMan for precise carry numbers, players will gain a clear understanding of how to manage scoring shots inside 80 yards.

Join us for a focused short game clinic designed to help you save strokes immediately around the greens. This session will cover essential techniques and simple practice methods that players of all skill levels can apply right away.

  • Proper setup and strike for consistent contact

  • 3 to 6 foot “must make” putting fundamentals
  • Competitive up and down and putting challenges
Players will leave with simple, repeatable techniques and practice drills they can use all season.
