Opening for the 2025 Season on April 18th!

Formerly known as the Country Club of the Poconos Municipal Golf Course, The Poconos Club began a new chapter of private ownership on August 27, 2024. Since then, we’ve been laying the foundation for a bold transformation — honoring the legacy of the course while introducing a refreshed vision for the future.

Designed by renowned golf course architect Jim Fazio, the 18-hole layout at The Poconos Club is a true reflection of mountain golf at its best. Fazio’s thoughtful design blends strategic play with the natural beauty of the Pocono Mountains, showcasing dramatic elevation changes, mature woodlands, and peaceful water features throughout. Each hole offers a distinct experience, challenging golfers of all levels while highlighting the terrain’s natural rhythm and beauty.

As we reopen for the 2025 season, the course remains fully operational and beautifully maintained. We are committed to enhancing both the golf and guest experience — with careful improvements that preserve the character, playability, and scenic charm that make this property so special.

Club Updates

We’ve been hard at work behind the scenes laying the foundation for a long-term transformation of The Poconos Club. While the full clubhouse renovation is still in the planning phase, the space remains open and functional for the season. It’s also available for private events, corporate gatherings, and community functions.

We are currently in the final stages of securing our liquor and health licenses and are hopeful full food and beverage service will be available by opening day. We’ll continue to share updates as they become available — and we appreciate your support and patience as we bring this vision to life.

Course Overview

Set in the heart of the Pocono Mountains, The Poconos Club offers a scenic and thoughtfully designed 18-hole course that caters to all levels of play. With its rolling terrain, natural water features, and elevated tee boxes, the course provides a peaceful yet engaging experience.

Due to the distance between several holes, golf carts are required for all players. This allows for a smooth pace of play and the ability to take in the full beauty of the property during your round.

  • Course Rules & Etiquette

    To ensure a great experience for all players, we kindly ask that you follow these guidelines:

    • Tee Times: Please check in at least 15 minutes before your scheduled time.

    • Carts: Carts are required for all players due to course layout. Please follow all cart path signage and keep carts away from greens and tee boxes.

    • Pace of Play: Be mindful of groups behind you. Allow faster players to play through if there is space ahead.

    • Course Care: Replace divots, repair ball marks, and rake bunkers after use.

    • Courtesy: Maintain a respectful noise level and refrain from inappropriate language or behavior.

  • To maintain a refined and enjoyable atmosphere, The Poconos Club observes a golf-specific dress code:

    • Men: Collared shirts with sleeves. Slacks or tailored shorts are acceptable.

    • Women: Golf-appropriate tops, slacks, skirts, or shorts of appropriate length.

    • Not Permitted: Denim, tank tops, gym wear, cut-offs, swimwear, or clothing with offensive graphics.

    • Footwear: Soft-spike golf shoes are required. No metal spikes or sandals permitted.

  • Looking for a beautiful, no-fuss setting for your next gathering? While we’re still in the early stages of transforming our clubhouse, the space is currently available for private events, meetings, golf outings, and small celebrations on a DIY basis.

    This means we provide the space — you bring the vision. At this time, we do not have on-site event coordinators or full-service offerings, but the scenery and setting speak for themselves.
